On November 8th we had the honor of the presence of Frankie Leonardo, Vietnam Veteran & Character in Restless Hearts. Additionally, the Brother Jim, Sister in Law Barbara, and Niece Kristin Erlwein of fallen Vietnam Hero Sergeant Ricky Wood met at Peppinos in Callicoon, New York for a remembrance of the warriors an a thanks from Restless Hearts for their support of the book. The event was very moving and continued on to the Brewery where the Wood Family made a call to Sergeant Ron Standiford to thank him for communicating Ricky’s last day in Vietnam to the family. This night made the entire project priceless. Also on hand was Captain Charles Askey, a shipmate and former boss who has been a considerable influence to the event.
